i'm sorry for my comment. yes, i'm a buddhist and i respect monks, my parents, teachers and the aged. i love buddhism as well as justice and peace. i have been deeply feeling sad since 2007 coz many monks, novices and nuns were arrested, badly tortured and killed. they are still helpless until now....
now again, the sangha mahanayaka's decision and punishment for shwe nya wah sayadaw makes me so sad. i don't understand why they are doing such terrible action even if they are educated and religious senior monks. i understand, let alone religious leaders, every educated person are smooth, gentle and kind. the more they are educated, the more they should be more gentle and kind. especially, for religious leaders should not be more gentle, kind and peaceful....?
in this case, they should make justice and fair punishment even though shwe nya wah sayawdaw commits a crime. now it's not like that. i think they are too much tyrannizing shwe nya wah sayadaw. why they can not sympathize him and why they can not develop metta, karuna, mudita and upekkha for a monk who is helping for the benefit of the people and delivering a speech for peace. that's why i and all of my friends are feeling too sad.
i'm one of the students who is fighting for justice, freedom and democracy. i also once was a monastic student and i have got no more will to insult senior monks and buddhism. for the sake of buddhism and my country, my life was pushed on the stormy and thorny way. but no problem, i don't care any more. everbody has common sense how to differentiate what is right and what is wrong. So, as the senior monks or religious leaders should think deeply and they should not make any decision by force of the military generals. they should not listen to the military generals. they should see only buddha and vinaya according to buddhist traditions. if the senior monks don't look after the young monks, novices and nuns, who will look after them. if so, buddha sasana will be gone. it's clear...!
